| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Cloudy soft orange color. Full body, chewy wheat throughout, a bit on the sweet side from the berry flavoring, but not overdone. Plastic-like all-purpose berry flavoring, artificial, resembles nutri-sweet at times... nothing too impressive, but it does have a a nice and full body from the wheat. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Draught at brewpub. Pours hazy ruby with a small, diminishing, frothy white head, fair lacing. Aroma is light malt (straw, grain), light hops (grass), light yeast (sweat) with notes of blackberry. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation and a chalky finish. Short duration, light sweetness, acidity and bitterness. Ernest (4483), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy light amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately yeasty (dough), with a note of lemon rind, maybe a hint of generic berries.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
I had to try reeeeaalll hard to convince myself there was any blackberry essence in this. I let it warm up, swirled, you know, doing my best to conjure up some kind of fruity berry character, but it never really materialized. Lotsa doughy vitamin B stink from the yeast, unfortunately. The flavor balance is good, though. But don’t go into this expecting much fruit character, other than the obligatory American Wheat lemon rind. Aubrey (2774), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 9, 2004 Cloudy and light orange; thinnish head, but nice lace. Palate was light and refreshing. Malts were grainy and bready, and a little wheaty. Very little sweetness. Some sourness and a little tartness. Blackberry flavor/aroma was a nice addition; not overdone, either. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2004 Quite the pleasant summer fruit-wheat. I had bought one for my female companion while I was having the doppel; after I tasted this wheat I decided to have one of my own. Not overly wheaty or fruity - it justs tastes nice and refreshing.
