Wheat germ-like with a chewy-wheatiness (but it’s made without wheat, as I was told). Rye was nice and bready. Drying, too. Soft palate; nice carbonation. Herbal bitterness in the finish. Pleasant beer. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 9, 2006 Stale bread aroma is dominant in this one. Has kind of a grainey sweetness, some sour fruitiness, and some grassy hoppiness coming through as well. Just not a big fan of this style. Ernest (4483), Boulder, Colorado, USA
