Aroma of fairly fresh citrusy hops and mildly sweet toasty pale malt. Body starts with a decent malty sweetness and some citrusy, earthy hop balance toward a crisp, very drinkable bittersweet finish. ¾ (5011), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2003 Clear amber appearance. Nice even Cascade hop aroma. Very frothy and carbonated. Thick, not very
exciting, but still some sweet subtle hop flavor on top of a big wheat/bread malt presence. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 16, 2002 Draught. Dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (citrus - grapefruit, resin), with a light note of apricot. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, moderately astringent. This 75 IBU resiny/grapefruity pale ale will undoubtedly get higher marks from bigger fans of the style, but it’s pretty well-balanced and reasonably enjoyable even for me. goldtwins (4086), Nesconset, New York, USA
