May 20, 2006 On tap @ Pumphouse poured a clear amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of pine, grass, carmel and earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of pine, grass, carmel and mild earthiness with a lingering bitter finish.

Jul 9, 2006 This is great stuff. I wish I could get some more of this, as an everyday type drinking pale ale. A very pleasing hoppiness pervades throughout, but not overpowering, just enough citrus and pleasing floral aromas. Maltiness is a sweet bit of caramel, but overall amazingly well balanced.

Aug 22, 2009 When compared to other Colorado IPA’s this one holds its own. It has a nice hop-to-malt balance, a crisp mouthfeel and a good finish.

Oct 27, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a nicely-lacing froth of clingy white head. Aroma of fairly fresh citrusy hops and mildly sweet toasty pale malt. Body starts with a decent malty sweetness and some citrusy, earthy hop balance toward a crisp, very drinkable bittersweet finish.

Apr 23, 2006 On tap at the brewpub, 4/13/06: Golden copper. Pleasantly hoppy, but not over the top. Nice little American pale ale, but it did have a bit of an off wood-chip flavor.

Nov 6, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head and an amber/copper color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops. Taste is sweet citrus hops, secondary sweet malt. Mild carbonation. Taste is Ignitor Pale Ale approximately but a bit more pungent.

Oct 2, 2006 tap. Hazy copper pour with thick head. nice lacing. nice hops and citrus aroma. creamy body of thick hips, sour malts and bitter finish. Balance slightly off but very good.
