On tap @ Pumphouse poured a clear amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of pine, grass, carmel and earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of pine, grass, carmel and mild earthiness with a lingering bitter finish.

This is great stuff. I wish I could get some more of this, as an everyday type drinking pale ale. A very pleasing hoppiness pervades throughout, but not overpowering, just enough citrus and pleasing floral aromas. Maltiness is a sweet bit of caramel, but overall amazingly well balanced.

on tap-pours a light tan head and an amber/copper color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops. Taste is sweet citrus hops, secondary sweet malt. Mild carbonation. On tap at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a nicely-lacing froth of clingy white head. Aroma of fairly fresh citrusy hops and mildly sweet toasty pale malt. Body starts with a decent malty sweetness and some citrusy, earthy hop balance toward a crisp, very drinkable bittersweet finish.

On tap at the brewpub, 4/13/06: Golden copper. Pleasantly hoppy, but not over the top. Nice little American pale ale, but it did have a bit of an off wood-chip flavor.
