| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2006 Great stuff overall and very true to style. A nice bit of mellow smokiness in the aroma, somewhat medicinal, perhaps a bit of peatiness or I may just be picking up some of the alcohol whiffs. Rich and sweet caramel malt body, smooth on the palate, with just a hint of dry, hoppy bitterness as it closes out.
