harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jul 9, 2006 Light, fruity and refreshing. Better than most, but still this is what it is, There are alot of moderate fruit flavorings, melon, and pomengranite. Fresh bready texture, with some sweet maltiness. Aubrey (2773), Denver, Colorado, USA Jun 13, 2006 Hazy and light orange with a fluffy white head. Light body; soft and creamy; light carbonation. Sweet bread combined with sweet fruit (honeydew melon was most obvious, but there were lesser hints of cantaloupe and other undetermined fruits). Hardly any bitterness. Tasty and refreshing, but a little too sweet without enough balancing bitterness. BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jul 23, 2005 Draught. Pours light yellow with a tall frothy white head that fizzles away shortly leaving a spotty lacing. Sweet fruit, kind of like melons, with a faint grain malt nose. Flavor is mild malt, mostly grain, and some fruits, although distinguishing among them is difficult. Light bodied and clean. Ernest (4481), Boulder, Colorado, USA Oct 17, 2002 Updated: Jul 22, 2005Draught. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain),
lightly hoppy (grapefruit), with light notes of lime, pomegranate, pear.
Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet,
moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. A pretty decent fruit beer, though the fruit character is not really detectable as honeydew specifically...seemed to be kind of an amalgam of fruits. Not exciting, but certainly a slight cut above your basic fruit-wheat.
