Sulfury and spicy base malt aroma with very fresh hops. Almost clear dark straw with a lasting, frothy cover. Nice, almost crisp, base malt flavour with assertive hops bitterness and less hops flavour than amoa may suggest. Some peppery/spicy flavour that doesn’t seem to work for me in this beer. Medium body, moderate carbonation, clean finish. pivnizub (3793), Porúří, Germany Aug 9, 2008 Draught at the brewpub:Golden, slightly hazy, smaller loose white head; distinctive herbal hoppy nose, supported by sweet pale malt and bread and yeast in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering dry, herbal-hoppy finish. Not bad, but a bit unbalanced........ DSG (844), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 8, 2008 (6/23/08) Draught at Zlý Casy in Prague. Slightly hazy, but almost clear golden with a white head.
