on tap at Slunce ve skle beer festival in plzen. i’d been looking forward to this one ever since the rbesg08 tour of the brewery when they mentioned that this was on the way. anyways, there was plenty of demand for this on the day. it emerged a dark shade of purple brown with a lasting off-white head. plenty of the expected bacon aromas with hints of banana and coco pops. a bit on the sticky side, hints of molasses and caramel with some pleasant meatiness. incredibly, this wasn’t the only czech rauchbier available on the day and i think it just shaded the kocour version
