Jun 14, 2009 Bottle sampled at Noog Four-0 5/31/08: Pours a mostly still bright golden bronze with a thin ring of white bubbles. Aroma of rich, sweet semi-tart green apples and light honey. Body starts slightly effervescent, semi-sweet and fruity with some sticky tartness before a slightly phenolic and more bitter, warming finish.

Jan 18, 2005 This is one of my wife’s favorites. Somewhere between cider and champagne sits the creations of Putney wines. Soft and spicey with some decent carbonation. A nice sipping beverage when sitting in a sizzling hot jacoozi on a cold winter’s night overlooking the mountains of VT.

May 27, 2004 Gorgeous 750 ml cobalt bottle makes a huge "pop" when opened, yet the liquid thankfully doesn’t gush out. Very light blonde, lager-like, small ring of foam remains for a while. Semi-sweet apple nose also betrays hints of grapes and the barnyard. Semi-sweet on the tongue at first, drying out quickly; very alcoholic in a sort of sweet whisky way; fairly full-bodied. Not as good as the Heirloom Cuvee I had the other night, but a well above average strong cider.

Jun 8, 2008 Noogfest ’08. The body was light gold. The aroma was strongly apples with some floral notes. There was also some peanuts. Very fruity, not dry like many ciders. The taste was light apples with some woody dry notes. There was also a little bit of perfume.

Jun 5, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, ornage-yellow body with a thin, bubbly head.
Smell: Sweetish apple aroma blended with honey and wafts of harsh alcohol. This is no Strongbow, that’s for sure.
Taste: Easy-going, sweet, freshly-peeled apple flavor is run down by a rather pronounced alcohol presence. Dried out honey taste. Pretty much the same till finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin, still body.
Drinkability: I hope you like your ciders on the strong side.

Jun 3, 2008 This has a decidedly sweet, tingly, fresh cider flavor. Very nice. Honey. I really dug this cider.
