This one was not a bad beer but had almost no flavor. The look and smell was fine. It was drinkable only because there is really nothing there to make it undrinkable. Might be a good brew if it is 100 degrees out and your hunched over a BBQ. BUt other than that a little to light for me. eeblah (79), Arizona, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 21, 2007 This pours a somewhat strange amber brown with a small tan head. This has a very classic malty aroma. Ends with a brief wheat flavor. Quite good if you are looking for an amber. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2006 Bottle: Murky brown with a small head. It has a refreshing crisp wheat aroma. The taste is rich fermented flavors with a basic wheat aftertaste. Nothing special, but I like it more than their hefeweizen. webjedi (249), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 19, 2006 I could best describe as a ESB mashed with a Hefeweizen. Less weaty than you tpyical hefe, and just malty enough to bring up memories of a Scottish malty bitter. Pours a cloudy cider brown with little to no head. Fruity taste and aroma, close to a light sour pear (but in a good, sweet way). Pretty tasty , and if I had more, I would have drank more. Very light on the toungue, almost wanting somethign a bit thicker, but stuck to the typical hefeweizen mouth feel. (Bottle Pour 10/19/2006) cbkschubert (2004), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2006 12 oz. bottle - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head that faded quickly. Has a nice toffee malt aroma. Has a toasty, caramel malt flavor. Light to medium body. This beer was a pleasant surprise. Not your typical American Wheat. Good beer. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Body fades from a light amber up top to a darker amber at the bottom with an 1/2 inch off white head. Aroma is honey, a bit of citrus, slight banana ester, caramel, and wheat. Taste is light peach, apricot mixture with wheat; pretty simple brew. Mouthfeel is average. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 30, 2006 Overall unimpressive. Nice color. But the main problem was that Pyramid used too much malt to gain the amber color described and it sacrificed too much in the way of flavor.
