Commercial Description:
Brewed by the original Wheat Beer Pioneers, Amber Weizen is left unfiltered for extra flavor and aroma. Deep orangish red with a little head. Light fruity aromas of caramel malts. Slightly sour and sweet combination that works pretty well. Some honey and wheat flavors in the background. Not bad.

Not much flavor to note in this "hybrid" wheat beer - a very light drink. A really mellow malty taste, mellow and weak. Flavor was watered down and the body was overcarbonated. No punch, not really refreshing, a dissappoining effort.

It did hit the spot after sweating out in the sun for a while. else I probably would’ve rated it lower. Nice look, a hazy amber body with a three-fingered off-white head. The aroma is subtly fruity with wheat, honey, a light malt, and yeast. The flavor, however, is just wheat, grain, a trace of cherries, and a faint citric tang. Good for the hot weather, I suppose.

Bottled. Pours a hazy dark amber color. Slightly sweet spicy aroma. Some grains along with a hint of yeast. Malty flavor right up front. Slightly roasty. A little sweet and spicy. Somewhat bitter finish. Not extremely flavorful, but not bad.

I was looking for a red pour - concentrated iced tea pour is what I received. Average fizzy head that left quckly. Blahhhh. Not bad, just blah. Pass if you can.
