Commercial Description:
Brewed by the original Wheat Beer Pioneers, Amber Weizen is left unfiltered for extra flavor and aroma. Eh? Not my favorite, to me it just seems kind of typical. Nothing really stands out in my opinion. A bit of spice, fruit and wheat...thats it. I will finish my sixer, but probably wont buy again.

Slightly brown, slightly red, the head was almost off-white, fizzy and produced minimal lacing. The aroma was malt, dry wheat and some fruit. The flavor was like a light dopplebock. Banana came through with some malt and slight wheat dryness. The mouthfeel was thin and the finish was fairly dry.

On tap @ Oakland Airport poured a cloudy amber with a lasting light amber head. Aromas of wheat, carmel, light spice and a hint of fruittiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, wheat, light fruittiness and light spice with a smooth malty finish.

Poured a hazy orange color with a huge sparse head that disappeared quickly leaving little lacing. Aroma was spicy with hints of wheat and yeast. Taste was sweet malt and some citrus. Not a great wheat beer.

Unfiltered orange with large quickly disappearing beige head. Aroma of spicy yeast, wheat, and cereal. Taste of caramel, yeast, sweet malt, lemon and wheat. Creamy body is a bit thin but it packs a nice crisp spicy finish. Middle of the road (at best) wheat beer.
