scooter_bub (163), Lander, Wyoming, USA Jul 17, 2008 Updated: Jul 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy red-caramel color with a large beige head that completely fades away rather fast. Aroma is of yeast, wheat, alcohol and is sort of sweet. Taste is similar, but malt is present. Not a bad beer as it is inexpensive, but it was pretty hard to pour. It would probably be better if I had a fresher batch or if it was on tap.
nqualls (113), Tennessee, USA Aug 7, 2008 Poured a hazy orange color with a huge sparse head that disappeared quickly leaving little lacing. Aroma was spicy with hints of wheat and yeast. Taste was sweet malt and some citrus. Not a great wheat beer. esjaygee (721), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jul 30, 2008 Unfiltered orange with large quickly disappearing beige head. Aroma of spicy yeast, wheat, and cereal. Taste of caramel, yeast, sweet malt, lemon and wheat. Creamy body is a bit thin but it packs a nice crisp spicy finish. Middle of the road (at best) wheat beer. BMan1113VR (762), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California, USA Jul 21, 2008 Listed as Pyramid Amber Ale at the Ale House inside the Oakland Airport (on Tap). Not really appealing to drink. Pours a murky/muddy brown color with a small, off-white head. Aroma of wheat and amber/caramel malts. Taste is a nutty wheat beer with a bit of metal on the finish. Watery and fizzy. carruthm (357), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 8, 2008 cloudy reddish pour, light aroma and the flavor seems like it cannot decide if it’s a wheat or an amber and just cannot meld the two.
