Aroma is some sweet sugared apricots. Flavor is bitter apricot and a bit of wheat sweetness. Bad aftertaste. skoisirius (584), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Somehow, this is one of the very few Pyramid brews left that I still enjoy. The fairly forward push of real apricot flavors sucker my little tastebuds into bliss. Not the greatest of the palate smashers, but on a hot day in the summer (when it’s available), it really can hit the spot. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Had a very pretty strong apricot flavor, which was surprising. Other than that, it was weak on the finish and dry/watery. Tasted like their crystal weizen with apricot in it. The fruit seemed like an addition, and didn’t mingle with the rest of the beer. bigscroggs (5), Grand Prairie, Texas, USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2008 Very full and fruity aroma. Nice color, hazy. medium head-white. Apricot was not overwhelming. I don’t usually drink fruit beers, or any weizens for that matter, but this one left a favorable impression on me. I will definitely be sampling other beers from this brewery. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2008 12 ozer from Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a hazy straw color with a medium white head. Aroma was of fruit and some wheat. Flavor was wheat up front and a sweet apricot finish. Not too heavy of a beer. Good summer brew. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Bottled twice now (thanks to Jim and Wyl!). I want to give it a third shot. Thick artificial nose and flavor of apricot fighting with the "beer" flavor of malts. Too much going on to be a hot summer day sipping beer, too sweet for anything else. patricks110 (285), Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Bottle from Bottlescrew Bills Calgary, AB. Can also get at Kensington wine market and Co-op liquor. A bright orange straw colour pour with a large head. An aroma of fruit, grass and wheat. A first taste of wheat and an aftertaste and lingering taste of sweet apricots. An enjoyable flavour and a crisp clean mouthfeel. Not overly wheat tasting. A great beer. scooterbub (386), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold color with a thin white head that clings to the glass and lasts until the beer is gone. The apricot is profound in the taste and aroma. Wheat is also fairly noticeable in both. Pretty easy to drink, almost too easy, as it is smooth and has a good taste. Overall, this is a pretty tasty and refreshing fruit beer that is offered at a decent price.
