Commercial Description:
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

Hazy yellow-orange hue, with a frothy white head, leaving some laces, yeasty, wheaty, honeyed pale malt, and an intensive apricot purrée nose, with some marmalade fruitiness, and a bananaish, vanilla aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, wheaty, fruity acidic apricot character, with a zesty citrusy accent, some marmalade, banana notes with a pitch of vanilla spiciness in a honeyish way, leading towards a fruity apricot, tart, acidic, in a subtle lingering hop dryness finish.

Unfiltered orange-ish color, wait make that apricot color with a thin quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of apricots and wheat, taste is more of the same. Mild dry finish. Not bad, nice change of pace beer.

Pours with a small, white head that goes away quite quickly. Dark, golden orange body. Strong fruit in the aroma with mainly apricot and some honey. Taste is upfront with the fruit followed by a finish that is mainly wheat and hay. Mouthfeel is dry and fizzy.

Aroma is fruity and suggests some perfumes. Poured cloudy gold with a big fluffy white head, some lacing. Palate is fine, smooth and full. Flavor is hard to describe. My little sister once talked me into trying a fruit beer at a brewpub. I struggled through it so as to not insult her tastes. But I decided then that I didn’t like fruit beers and this one hasn’t changed my mind. Could not taste the malt or hops so I would suggest this beer for someone who is not a beer drinker. The flavor is of slightly bitter apricots. And I normally like apricots. I like beer too, just not mixed with fruit. Update: I have recently tried a fresh bottle and can now say it is much better than the last one I had. Still you must like apricots in your Heffe.

GREAT beer. I had this at the brewery some number of years ago and loved it. Nice apricot flavor, nice color and great balance. Just enough sweetness, but not overpowering. Refreshing is the right word for this beer.

This stuff is great. Apricot flavor very subtle but present. Sweetness is delicate also, not grossly sweet. Bitterness balances everything out. Overall a great and very refreshing beer.

Golden orange color with cloudiness and a little head. Sweet apricot smell mixed with the wheat. Taste of apricot is apparent but not overwhelming.

Smells like peaches. Very cloudy and very carbonated. Nice aftertaste. Has a little weird taste to it though.
