Once again, not a very complex taste. Apricot, mangoes, with a hint of grain in the finish. Has a sort of syrupy body. This is a tasty beer in small desert doses. Probably would be good in the summer. It just needs the sweetness toned down and a little more complexity. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Updated: May 28, 2008This is ok, but I don’t find it very enjoyable. It is cloudy gold with an orange hue, thin off-white head that steadily dissipates to a thin ring. The aroma is dried apricots, pumpkin, and hint of grain and dough. The taste is tart, dry apricot with fizzy mineral water at first with a real, long, cracker finish along with dry apricot element. It gets tiresome fast and it’s downright awful with foo, being very ominated by the unpleasant apricot-mineral water tatse. Alone, it’s drinkable and a bit refreshing, but not something I’d ever choose to have. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Orangey hazy colour with a decent sized head. Aroma is wheaty with noticeable apricot. Nice smoothness but a touch sweet with apricot. Finishes with medium stickiness. TizzleJizzle (64), Garland, Texas, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Feb 25, 2008 The Pyramid Apricot Weizen pours an orange-golden color and smells obviously of apricot. However, the flavor is awful and you’ll have a bitter fruit taste in your mouth for a lot longer than you’d want to deal with. The palate was light and highly unimpressive; overall a lack luster beer that should be put down and retired Bartzilla (443), San Diego, California, USA

Not my cup of juice, but it’s been around for years so it must be a hit amongst the ladies. It’s as advertised. Sweet, dry and not much else. Haslinger (649), Syracuse, New York, USA

Light cloudy orange, decent initial head dies quick. Aroma is clearly apricot, almost but not quite to the point of cloying. The aroma actually blends nicely into a nice wheaty flavor. Apricot up front, wheat on the finish. Fairly dry too, which is nice in such a pronounced fruit beer. Not bad.
