Commercial Description:
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

Sweet dry sugary dried apricot flavor. The beer has a quick acting foam large head. Its slightly cloudy gold, with a tint of orange. Takes some getting used to, but its really not bad.

bottle. Wow. This is like apricot soda. I think there is some beer in there. drink this if you want to act like you are drinking beer while drinking fabricated fruit juice.

Had this beer on 6/22/2000. Aroma is sweet and almost Kool-aidy. Color is pale orange with ok carbonation and nice head. Taste very apricoty. Starting with light/medium body it goes down with a bubbly feel. Finish is sweet with a full apricot flavor. This is one of my favorite fruit flavored beers.

Has a typical hefe appearance but a pronounced apricot aroma. Had a pretty sweet taste with more apricots. Not much of the phenolics you expect. I guess this is a cleaner, American wheat beer. My wife likes it so it must be inferior.

This beer pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy head. The scents of apricot abound in this tasty brew. I don’t have the patience for most wit-beers, but this one wasn’t too sweet for a fruit infused hefewiezen.

On tap at the SoDo brewery. Pours cloudy gold with a lacy white head. Fortunately, this beer already contains some fruit, so the barman didn’t feel the need to park a lemon slice on the rim, a la the standard Hefe. Dusty apricot nose. The sweet apricot taste says this is the standard hefe recipe with some apricots added.

This beer had an orange body with a medium head. The aroma was definately that of apricot. The taste was good, but a little too sweet. It was definately flavorful of apricot. I wouldn’t be able to drink too many of these at once as the sweetness would overtake.
