Commercial Description:
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

Poured a hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma had big apricot notes with a fruity sweetness. There was a mild apricot flavor with a light wheatyness. Light body with a short semi-dry mildly bitter finish.

Pours a crystal clear gold with a consistent stream of bubbles and a modest white head of tiny bubbles that diminishes to just a few bubbles clinging to the edge of the glass. The nose smells like a blend of a straight American wheat and an apricot-scented shampoo. Light to medium-bodied and smooth with a moderately dry finish. The flavor is slightly better than the nose. Despite the shampoo-like aroma, the apricot doesn’t taste quite as "soapy" as many fruit beers, but I get a dryness from this beer that makes me think of apricot pits more than the fruit itself. Highly carbonated and a bit bitter for a fruited wheat. While I’m not blown away with this one, it’s not half bad. That’s more than can be said for a lot of fruit beers. If you dig apricots and you like fruited wheats, give it a try.

Poured a cloudy pale/orange color with a thin soapy head. The nose is dominated with apricot and some malty notes. The taste is like an apricot creamcicle(a mix of nectar and cream). The end is slightly wheaty but the apricot still dominates. I’m not much for fruity beers but I liked the thick, creamy feel of this beer.

Bottle. Nice light amber color. Very crisp and clean appearance. Smells of apricot goodness. A bit dishwatery - slightly soapy. Nice and sweet beer, but taste is slightly off. The apricot smell fooled me into thinking it might be nice and hoppy or bitter - but was neither. Still, not too disappointed. Would have again.

old rating: 4/3/5/3/11 - 2.6 pours a cloudy tangerine with a large off-white head, and a little lacing. smells like or orange kool-aide or Tang, apricot, some spice, and a little wheat. tastes like soda water, sweet apricot, and some yeast, end is a little dry.

Cloudy golden color with a fizzy, light beige diminishing head. Dried apricot aromas, perhaps a hint of bread and floral hops, but I may be reaching. Light apricot syrup with a touch of vanilla drizzled on a french batard flavors. A bit syrupy in feel. Lightly metallic in the linger. A sweet brew that among the fruit lovers should be a winner.

Golden orangish with white head. Smell is mouthwatering vibrant juicy apricots bursting out of the glass. Taste is smooth, prefectly sweet with intense apricot flavor making this an overall very nice fruit beer. Very light wheat taste noticeable, but much less so than other wheat/fruit beers. Worth a try for sure.

Wow...I thI’m the 500th rater of this! Apricot color and also in aroma. Significant carbonation, a bit sweet, apricot, slight wheat, a touch of tartness. Refreshing and easy to drink. I’ve had this for years in btls. and always liked it but I am drinking it now at the Alehouse in Berkeley on tap. Very tasty brew.
