| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 14, 2007 Apricot aroma was a bit too strong for me. I would have dialed it down a notch. Nice orange wheat appearance, though head was thin and did not last long. Overall a very drinkable fruit beer. I wouldn’t go out of my way to order this, but wouldn’t be upset if if was offered to me. mstockton (186), Rochester, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2007 Strong apricot smell and flavor. Looks like an ufiltered wheat when poured, but head disappears soon after the pour. Nice flavor, with mild wheat flavor. The fruit overpowers the wheat side, but I really liked the flavor. Nice, refreshing drink for a hot day. jhumphries69 (728), Tyrone, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2007 Pours a deep, cloudy gold with orange highlights. Atop this sits a thin white head. The aroma is intense with apricots and fruit. More sniffs reveal other aromas: lemon, peaches, cloves, and wheat. The flavor starts with an interesting acidity (citrus and hints of vinegar) from the fruit, but tasty. The flavor has very strong notes of apricots throughout, but also has decent bits of sweet wheat malts and weizen yeast. The finish is crisp and dry with a touch of earthy hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is well carbonated and medium in body. Overall, a very pleasing fruit beer that tastes better than their standard Hefeweizen. Slipstream (760), USA

It is frothy, with light sourness and a noticable apricot fruitiness, and has a mild aftertaste. The apricot and wheat click together, and make a beer that this rater got excited about! Note - sometimes this can taste a little soapy, but I am not sure why. When it is good, it is about as nice a fruit beer as I have had. Eckato (89), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Poured from bottle...cloudy milky yellow...huge white head that gradually loses its luster...apricot scent that seems a bit off...there is an apricot flavor, but something not quite right about it....not bad....but not sure what is going on with this one....I want to say it is malty but I am not sure...I like it, then I don’t...I like the way this beer looks better than it tastes.... | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Tart apricot aroma. Pours a hazy dull orange, no head. Flavour is mostly yeasty with sweet apricot mixed in. Somewhat tart finish. Not my favourite style, but mildly refreshing. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy orange with offwhite head. Aromas of fresh apricot, sour wheat malt, and some faint yeast. Flavor is a nice balance between fresh apricot sweetness and tangy malt. Smooth on the palate, though not as creamy as I’d hoped, with a bit of a drying yeast bite in the finish. Tasty stuff.
