Simply a good lawn mowing beer. A nice apicot fruit flavor and the wheat makes it nice and smooth. Not a serious beer but a fun beer.

This had a non-existant head.Aroma was of apricots.apricot color of beer.Flavor was of apricots and sweetness.Maybe some sweet malt in the flavor.tastes like an un finished apricot wine,but does has that beer after taste.Unique,but I think i’d rather eat an apricot.Tastes somewhat flat.It supposed to be apricot wheat.I guess it is.Not bad,but not exactly something I would seek out.If you like apricots you have to ay least try this beer.It tastes better the more I drink.I guess I’m getting numb to it.

Bottle. Pours pours copper, rather clear for a weizen. The nose is particularly offensive to me. It’s like syrupy Jolly Ranchers and Play Doh. It hits my nose hard and it hurts me. The flavor is better with a more reasonable apricot presence, but it’s still over the top. It loses points with me due to my dislike for apricots and that is pretty much all that is here. Not good. Avoid. [October 1, 2007] So, this was the only beer at Urban that I hadn’t rated. I reluctantly ordered it. After one sip, it all came rushing back to me. I’ve had this abomination before. I wanted to shed tears into my beer upon that horrible realization. Here I am sipping on straight, candied apricot juice and not even another tick on my ratings to show for it. dammit.

nice looking, fairly clear cooper color. It smells really nice, but taste kind of disappears. Probably cause the bottle I had got frozen in my fridge

Cloudy orange with apricot nose. Sweet apricot taste upfront, then comes the wheaty flavors....then more apricot on the finish. Easy to drink and isn’t overpowering.

I first indulged in the Pyramid Apricot Weizen during a trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon last summer. I can say to this day, that drinking this fine brew in the middle of a grassy field during a hot night in Ashland Oregon was one of the most relaxing and memorable experiences of my early beer drinking days. With its delicious flavor and aroma, the Apricot Weizen is an awesome choice on a hot summer night. Due Pyramid’s using real apricot preservatives, you may find that each brew lacks consistensy with one another.

A hazy dull orange color with a fruity aroma of.......apricots. This beer is smooth going down and the flavoring is not overpowering. My wife loved this and I’ll admit its a break from the norm for summer beers.

Great summer beer. Minimal head, golden orange color. The fruity aroma of dried apricots hits you right away, but it’s very pleasant. Primary flavor is apricot with hints of wheat. Nicely carbonated, very crisp. A favorite. I could drink this all day, particularly in hot weather. Give this a shot.
