Commercial Description:
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

Pours a surprisingly clear gold into the glass with a bit of white head. I swear this thing has to be filtered. The aroma is nothing to write home about and has some fake candy-like apricot present. It’s an interesting wheat but I’m not particularly pleased with it. I prefer pyramids hefe to this one any day.

Poured a fairly clear orange color with very minimal head. The aroma was very strong of apricot. The flavor was dominated by apricot as well, not much wheat in the flavor to me. I didn’t care for this one too much.

5/30/2007: Pyramid Apricot Weizen is cloudy, gold/light apricot in color, and has a foamy, light ivory head. The aroma is juicy with lots of fresh apricots (I love apricots!). The flavor is a balanced blend of wheat/cream of wheat cooked apricots. The finish has a bit of sour/tart flavor to it. This beer is medium-bodied, nicely carbonated, and a good mouthfeel. Pyramid Apricot Weizen is one of my long-time favorite fruit beers!

12 oz bottles (Enjoy By 090107) shared by uncle. Thanks!

There was so much aroma, but not much flavor of apricot or wheat in relation.

Very apricot with some wheat. Nothing to cherish, but a tasty summery beer that anybody should be able to enjoy.

Nice aroma that was attractive even to my wife. A solid wheat with a bit of fruit in the background. Refreshing for a hot day. Looks great in the glass.

Huge apricot aroma with a wheat background. Taste is similar and overly sweet. There is too much fruit flavor. This reminds me of an apricot puree with some wheat beer thrown in. I hadn’t heard that many good things about this beer so I had put it off. After trying it, it is a good thing that I only got one and not a six pack.

Smells like dried apricots with a faint wheat character. Cloudy yellow color with faint white head. Wheat body with faint dried apricot finish after an unpleasant bite that divides the two flavors.
