| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2007 Orangey color with quickly dissolving white head. Amoma is (shockingly) heavy on apricots and the drink has, on one level, a very close comparison to apricot nectar. However, if you aren’t adverse to fruit beers, this beer did have a nice wheat backbone to offset the fruit flavor to an extent. This had a very pleasant, drinkable flavor, if not something you’d be clamoring for again in the near future Dixon (31), Iowa, USA

Not only a fruit beer, but a WHEAT beer. Love the wheat beers. The great thing about this beer is the balance and the nose. Slight apricot smell as well as flavor, not overpowering. You have to try it. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA

Some wheat and malt flavors, but the apricots overwhelm anything else. LinusStick (1846), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Sampled at Bocktown Tasting- In my opinion a very good fruit beer. Apricot is balanced out nicely by the wheat/yeastiness so it never goes into the "too sweet and fruity" category. Aroma and taste were the same-apricot and yeast/wheat. Pour was a bubbly gold. Since I don’t like apricot alone, the fact that the apricot was not overpowering is a plus. thomasacross (129), Edina, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Draft at Pyramid Alehouse, Seattle. The fruit flavors on tap were much subtler than I expected -- almost more noticeable in the aroma than the flavor. Honestly, I thought they could have used more apricot -- while this is a nice, light, drinkable weizen, it is not particularly distinctive.
