Medium palate comes from the orange colored body. Wheat malt taste with some tangy flavors as well. Not too bad really for an apricot ale. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with proportional white head. The aroma is candied apricots, which I suppose should not be too surprising. The flavor is like the dried apricots that show up in trail mix, with a slightly dry finish and a hint of grass in the aftertaste. Ok, but the apricots are way out of balance... need some beer in there, too. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Feb 10, 2007 While not a ’bad’ beer, the apricots are too powerful. It’s hard to taste anything but the overpowering apricot syrup. Tastes like a jolly rancher, take that as you will. brstp (201), Princeton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Bottle. Apricot-ish orange color. Aroma of apricot. Taste of apricot. That’s about all there is to say about this one. Dubbercody (214), Vancouver, Washington, USA

Hazy apricot color with a white head. Nose is insanely apricot, strong and sweet. Effervescent, again with a intense apricot flavor. Almost thick flavor, which surprised me. Easy to drink, something my mom would really enjoy. (That’s not a bad thing.) Not bad at all, but this time of year I wouldn’t pick this first.
I think this would be just fine at a party where shorts and a kiddie pool with iced down beers. I have to say it’s one of the better Pyramids from a bottle that they’re currently brewing.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 27, 2007 This beer pours a golden orange with a medium white head. When smelling this thing you instantly gets large doses of apricot and little else! The taste is the same, it is filled with lots of apricot. Not sure I like that though.... Too fruity for me. Good thing I only bought a bottle of this stuff! Cheers! b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
