Wheat twang made the flavor something I really didn’t want to remember. Should have just smelled it all night long. DrinkMoreBeer (21), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 23, 2006 Bottle. Nice apricot flavor, with a dry, clean aftertaste. I think many people expect apricot ales to be sweet, but the best ones I’ve had, such as the English beer Melbourne’s, which I prefer to this, are dry. jimhilt (1683), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 19, 2006 Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly to a thin ring leaving no lace. Cloudy amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Strong apricot nose. Starts with a sweet strong apricot flavor, hints of hops at finish. Its too cold now, this beer would be much better in the summer. $1.69 for a 12oz bottle from Chalet Party Goshen, In. cheapdark (2017), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 17, 2006 OK, so I’m not expecting much since it’s a fruit beer. The only one I’ve liked so far is Lancaster strawberry wheat. Twist off cap, 12 oz. Slight, sour fruit aroma, perhaps peach or apricot or nectarines. Pours as a cloudy wheat brew, darker than a witbier in my steeler stein. Apricot flavor, not too sweet, but sweeter than most all other fruitbeers I have tasted. No bitterness on the finish but perhaps its slightly artificial? Not quite as sweet as I would have liked but perhaps acceptable. Only reason it gets a decent rating is because its wheat. I was very pleased that this beer was not too sweet to have more than one because once I had one, I had to have another. The apricot is definately there but isn’t overwehlming. I now keep at least a dozen on hand as everyone to whom I’ve offered it has liked it and wanted another. jcwattsrugger (5424), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 5, 2006 Thin head which dissipates rather quickly. Reforms nicely in to a bright white head upon swirling. Nice apricot aroma. Light grainy aroma also. Medium golden orange in color. Light and fruity in flavor with peaches and apricots. Quite good actually. Minimal malts and a bit of a bitter palate. Crisp with a hint of butter. Finish is a little dry and has a lingering butter and apricot aftertaste. A pretty good fruit beer.
