Commercial Description:
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

Bottle. Poured a beautiful orange/copper color with fizzy white head. Lots of aroma or apricots and citrus. Very refreshing.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a small yellowish head. Aroma is distinct apricot citric and mild wheaty. Flavour is smooth apricot, subdued sweetness and smooth wheaty flavour and texture. Smooth fruity and mild citric flavoured finish. Nice one.

From the tap poured a dark amber color with a fair amount of head. Flavor of apricot, not too sweet with a quick finish.

This is a good drink. Has the essence of the apricot without being too sweet or taking away the beer flavor. Nice color, not a smooth mouth feel though.

12 oz bottle. Poured a light golden color. Aroma was mostly apricot, some malt/wheat as well. Flavor was, again, apricot, not really resting on a beer base though. There is a malt aftertaste, but it’s kind of like drinking apricot nectar in beer. They don’t seem to go together particularly well, at least a weizen plus apricots.

Overall Impression: This one shows up all over the place, I find this beer to relatively good for what it is trying to be, but for me it is just a little too sweet.

What a charming, delightful beer this is. It arrived in the glass with a frothy white head of perhaps a finger’s thickness on top of a medium gold body. The pleasing aroma of apricots was immediately evident. Such a delicious nose this beer brings! The taste was highly enjoyable, being very much the same as the scent. Mouthfeel was anything but cloying, and it finished nicely.
