There was nothing subtle about this one ... the aroma was purely sweet apricot, nothing else. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a thin, watery texture. The flavor started off sweet but was not overly so. In fact, it became tart and slightly acidic as the flavor matured on the palate. It had a medium finish. FlacoAlto (2473), Tucson, Arizona, USA

When poured vigorously this beer produces a frothy, fairly large bubbled, initially 1.5-finger thick, pale, tan tinted, off-white colored head. The beer is a hazy, orangish gold color. The aroma is simplisticly all apricot, nice and fleshy but unmistakably fruity apricot. If you really dig for it you might get some notes of biscuit-like malt, but this is subtle and far in the background.
The beer has a sweetness up front that is not cloying. The sweetness accentuates the peach-like apricot flavors that dominate the flavor profile of this beer. A touch of wheat derived acidity finishes this beer off and again serves to accentuate the fruit notes. There is even some noticeable bitterness in the finish (though light) as well as some prickly carbonation, which helps to balance the fruit and grain sweetness. Straight forward and simplistic in its flavors, yet it strikes a refreshing balance.
I have not had this beer in years, but my wife saw it while walking through Trader Joes, and I figured what the hell and picked up a six pack. Ever since I started drinking beer, and even during my period of not liking any type of fruit beer, I have always found this beer to be nice, quaffable and enjoyable. A work of artistic brewing, perhaps not, but it is a great beer to have well chilled in the fridge when it is 110*F (45*C) out. STEPHENDR (478), California, USA

Nice to mix in with a couple other light beers. I wouldn’t want to drink more than one in a sitting. ROGUE (664), Newark, Delaware, USA

I had one and loved it so I got a couple of six packs, it took me a while to finish. A fun beer, but after a few it gets to be a little to much. Very fruity aroma and flavor. Maybe too much carbonation? Drinks like a light beer with a slightly smooth, hardly noticable fruit. Buy it for your gf or wife and just tell her to smell it!
