| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Quite possibly the best fruit beer I have ever had. Very strong and appealing apricot aroma. Golden but cloudy in color as expected for an unfiltered brew. The apricot taste dominates all other flavors, with just a tinge of sweetness from the wheat. Poured a medium and hazy yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of strong apricot (extract). Tastes of stong apricot (but not as strong as the aroma) and some wheat. Thin and watery body. If you like apricots, I guess you will like this one. BuckeyeBoy (1696), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Thanks to fatty. Pours a hazy golden with a small bubbly white head that did not sustain. Aroma was all APRICOT with maybe some wheat and grass. Flavor was watery, apricot, wheat and maybe some sweet malts. I really enjoy DFH ApriHop and even Magic Hat #9...so Apricot in my beer I can dig. But this...not so much. eaglefan538 (2405), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 1, 2006 If you want apricot in your beer, go for Magic Hat’s #9 over this one. I’ll assume this qualifies as beer. Appearance was nice orange-tinted, fairly clear beer with a mediocre initial head and a lacing that lasted for the entire drink. Way too strong an apricot flavoring and the aroma was substantial. I won’t return to this one unless the doctor orders apricots and the store doesn’t sell them or the juice. zathrus13 (1318), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 29, 2006 Cloudy yellow/peach color. Aromas are are all apricot. Flavors are pretty much all apricot too. Doesn’t taste a whole lot like beer. frizzzzle (71), Overland Park, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 27, 2006 This beer pours a hazy orange/yellow color that actually reminded me a lot of an apricot itself. There was almost no head. The aroma is strong of apricot, to the point I couldn’t pick out much else. The flavor was also very strong of apricot, sweet, but not stickily so. Carbonation was too sharp for my taste, but it gave the beer a fizzy, fresh characteristic, good for late spring. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The bartender had one bottle left and was trying to get rid of it, so I obliged. This makes a good compromise between a standard type beer and a fizzy malternative.
