The fruity aromas and flavors of apricot and peach are not only prominent, but are amplified by the wheat beer style. Nonetheless, the beer has the refreshing quality you expect from a weizen, and that tangy wheat flavor. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 26, 2006 Pyramid’s Apricot Weizen pours a deep golden hue. Holding it up to a light, I noticed it is slightly cloudy in appearance. The head dissipated quickly, but tracings clung in minute amounts to the sides of the glass. The aroma was a very subdued apricot scent (compared to my expectations) with a touch of grass. The flavor of the beer naturally brought to mind apricots, but was slightly bitter. There was a significant aftertaste considering how little taste appeared while drinking the beer. The mouthfeel was unimpressive; this beer looks and felt like a slightly thicker macro. Not bad for a different kind of beer, but certainly nothing I would seek out again. patrick767 (2058), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Updated: Jul 2, 2009bottle - Pours yellow orange. A hard pour yielded a medium sized, rapidly fading head. The strong aroma is of, you guessed it, apricots. That’s about it. It smells good if you like the smell of apricots. It tastes like some kind of apricot syrup dumped in a very weak weizen. The body is very thin and on the too fizzy side. It has a refreshing, very light finish. This one just isn’t very good. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 8, 2006 Bottle. Smells like apricot. Tastes like peach and apricot. Frankly not the best I’ve had, but for what it was it was decent. TheBeerOrg (1591), Kentucky, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Pours hazy golden with a fully receding bubbly white head. Aroma of apricot, peach, white plum, and candy. Smells so intense that it seems like artificial flavoring. Taste is light and fruity, but fruity from the ’natural flavor’, not yeasty esters. Notes of apricot (obviously), melon, and honey. Mouthfeel is light bodied with lively carbonation. Not bad, but not really enjoyable. beerBB (132), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
