This is a good beer to introduce non beer drinkers to if you want them to try craft beer. Great aroma, color and mouthfeel. This is a good beer to have sparingly. Though the underlying malt flavor of the beer itself is barely perceptible, the apricot influence is very dominant, quite tasty, and somewhat tart rather than sweet. The hops adds almost no bitterness, and that works for me because I don’t think apricots and hops works well together. Not really much in the way of wheat flavors, but that’s okay too, this is all about the apricot. The nose is all tart apricot, and very enticing. Light-medium bodied and nicely carbonated, and the general tartness makes this an easy drinking beer, one that I could probably drink a few of without killing my palate. Fully cloudy and golden in color with a very tall and bubbly off-white head, but it settles to a thin ring and leaves no lacing. I’m not usually all that fond of Pyramid beers, but this is a well done apricot beer, athentic tasting and not sweet. brewblackhole (1375), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

I think its a good combination, but I think this one leans a little to much towards the fruit side. A lilltle more malt with the apricot would be great bigrond (1046), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

Nice orangy color with a foamy yellowish head. Flavor is almost too fruity but very pleasant. It is a decent beer to have with food, but nothing special. Seems like a beer for non-beer drinkers to me. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2005 Not bad, the apricot flavour is intense, almost too much, but nice. Nice amber orange colour. Big foamy head, very smooth, decent. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

It pours a cloudy orange/yellow color with thin white head. Wheat, yeast, and apricot aromas temp you from the start. The same flavors are there along with a touch of buttery apricot. There is a touch of sweetness. None of the flavor or aromas are overdone. This is a delicious, well balanced beer. alobar (1019), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 30, 2005 Very strong apricot aroma! This beer is definitely a hefeweizen! Cloudy, golden color. Apricot flavor that is pervasive, but not overwhelming. Very enjoyable.
