| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 16, 2009 I can’t say I’m a fan of this. It reminds me of shampoo! The wheat adds a nice smooth character, but the carbonation is quite high, and strips the smoothness away again. The apricot flavour tastes syrupy and fake, though I understand real apricots are used. This beer has travelled a long way, so maybe that’s why. Either way, it’s the second letdown I’ve had from Pyramid. I won’t be seeking them out again, though if I make it to the USA, I will try them on tap in Oregon to be fair. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Poured out a large foamy white cap that faded too quick to nothing more than a ring. Brew was a cloudy orange. Aroma is quite fragrant with lots of nice apricot (not fake or oversweet which really makes this enjoyable), wheat and yeast. Taste is of apricots, wheat, malt and a sourness. Lame description but that’s really it. Damn good to drink though. Great in the heat. Mouthfeel is excellent - smooth, great carbonation and a great lengthy tart/dry finish. During the very last sip I swear there were hops that I could notice. Ughsmash (4044), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Bottled as "Audacious Apricot Ale". Poured hazy medium golden with a short, but well-retained cap of white head. The aroma was all about the juicy apricots with accents of wheat and lemon zest.. some pale and lesser caramelly malts supported. The flavor had apricot pits and some meat with a little bit of tangy wheat.. some sticky fruit and malts on the finish.. aiight. Lighter-bodied and tangy on the palate with decent balance.. quite refreshing. JaBier (1233), Capital City, Ohio, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2009 12 oz bottle. Muddy tan brown with a white head that fades to a haze. Nose is dried and fresh apricot, sweet tea and cream of wheat. Crisp medium light with bubbly carb. Taste is banana and melon with tart apricot emerging in a dry finish. A touch of bitter pit and peel. I could drink a few of these, pretty good. tmoreau (583), Lombard, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2009 As the Snow Cap cellared well since winter, this also did although a much lighter style. Poured a light chill hazed (had settled well) orange/gold into my SA lager glass. The head and lacing were off white and modest. The nose was a light graininess and dominant apricot puree. The flavor mimicked the aroma. A nice, quaffable dessert beer. My fears were unfounded. hogan873 (333), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Sweet apricot and wheat aroma...very nice. Smooth, somewhat thin palate. The flavor fairly mimicks the aroma. Wheat and sweet apricot up front lead to just a touch of sour apricot. Pretty well balanced. A tasty wheat beer.
