Commercial Description:
Our flavorful apricot ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring.

2009 Bottle - Pours a hazy orange with a small white head...aroma is dry apricots, very slight grain and a touch of lager funk...flavour is fruity right off the bat, dry apricot that lingers...I don;t get too much grain in flavour, but certainly in the body, thick but light...not an everyday drinker, but still pleasant...

The aroma is sweet and fruity with apricot and wheat. The appearance is cloudy orange with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma and just a bit harsh. The palate is smooth. It’s interesting but I am just not crazy about it.

12 oz bottle from three cellars (franklin, wi). Pours a duller golden hazy hue with moderate cakey white head that laces some. Aromas are a nice apricot, not quite cloying, with a cereal graininess and a touch of stink. Fair enough. Initial is nice apricot and grainy balance, a little one dimensional but is not overly sweet, but is well done. A very refreshing summer drinker. Finishes with light bitterness, but some good apricot remains on the palate and aftertaste. Interesting graininess that I wouldn’t have pegged as wheat.

Blah.....fruit wheats just don’t work for me. this one was too sweet, although the apricot flavor was pretty fresh-tasting. These types remind me too much of Smirnoff-type malt beverages.

12 ounce bottle. Pours hazy orange-amber with a large head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is strong, tart apricot with some bready notes. Taste is apricot, wheat, bread, clove. Medium bodied.

Apricot smell and flavor is very strong and apparent. Taste quite fruity and leaves a gentle tingle after the swallow.

Bottle. Body is a hazy light orange/amber with very minimal head. Apricot is overwhelming in the nose and buries any other complexities that may exist. Flavor is a mix of apricot and a kind of nasty wheat presence. This smells like it might be OK, but man... something doesn’t come together right in the finish.

Girlfriend picked this one out. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Pours a weak orange color with a decent head. Aroma is all fruit. Flavor is weak Apricots. I would try this beer again.
