Distinct aroma of apricot. Medium-bodied, lightly sulphurous with distinct apricot flavours. But overwhelmingly a rather dry and fresh fruit beer with a subdued bitterness. High drinkability. 100506 omhper (12219), Stockholm, Sweden

Cloudy orange. Sweet apricot jam aroma. The malt profile is clean, hard and simplistic with no softness. The apricot flavour is balanced, not overly sweet, but somewhat acidic. The poor malt structure however kills this beer, and creates a metallic, empty finish. yespr (12135), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Big sweet apricot taste, hint of wheaty tartness. Sweet & tart finish, still with lots of apricot. That’s really about it. Pleasant, refreshing, drinkable but not terribly exciting unless you like apricot.
Original rating: Back in the day, before the likes of New Glarus and Quelque Chose, this was considered a definitive North American fruit ale. It is unfiltered, has a peachy colour, and strong sweet apricot flavours, which fall away towards the finish. Ar 7 Ap 4 Fl 7 P 4 Ov 14 = 3.6 fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
