A light malty aroma. Quite a bit of caramel in the aroma. Not aggressive in the flavor. Quite sweet with a bit of strength in the finish and a coatingness to it.

Pours a reddish amber color, with small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and sweet malts. Tastes sweet and malty (no surprise) and is pretty smooth. Pretty well balanced. I really enjoyed this beer, and though I wish it were available year round, it tastes like fall.

Oct. 2007 - Chestnut amber color with half finger head and very little lacing. Aroma was rather nondescript malty. Flavor was nutty, roasty with a touch of caramel. Much less caramel than the typical amber. As it warmed some sweet citrus reminiscent of lemongrass emerged. Not bad!

Pours with weak short lived head, but deep reddish amber color. Aroma reminds me of butterscotch, one of my favorite flavors. The flavor is full malt at first with respectable limey hops and a carmelly aftertaste. Almost a dessert beer.

Draft at CAH Innsbrook. Medium towards deep amber, slight head. Aroma of caramel and toffee, slight floral character. Flavor is slanted towards the malts, with some decent body, plenty of caramel and a bit of toffee. Floral and slightly spicy hops on the finish. Not bad at all.

Clear amber body with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with some caramel and light hops. Molassas and caramel flavor, very light hops. Medium body with fairly low carbonation and a fairly smooth finish.
