Light and almost herbal but not far removed from High Life or something like that. It’s a bready, crisp, refreshing, grassy lager that only somewhat resembles a pilsener. jgb9348 (2511), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Slightly hazy orange coloured body with golden highlights and a frothy white head. Looks like a wheat, from afar. Aroma of fresh low a.a. hops with a citrus twang and a small amount of malt. Light-bodied; Fresh tasting malt up front with a bit of fake sweetness and a small citrus feeling. After that comes a pleasant maltiness which just endures. Overall, a decent beer-nothing horrible by any means, just a beer that doesn’t show too much. Actually better than I thought it would be. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 17-December-2004. mjurney (61), Amarillo, Texas, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 13, 2004 Bottle. Hazy, pale golden, small white head, and lots of floaties (definitely unfiltered). Aroma is a little malty for a pilsner, but has the trademark hop aroma. Very carbonated. Flavor is malty and hoppy. Grainy texture. Attempts a crisp finish, but doesn’t quite get there. Stingy bitterness stays on tongue for a while after finish. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 10, 2004 Bottled. Hazy golden. Lightly grassy with hard crystal malt character and medium bitterness. An uninspired lager. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2004 Thin white head, solid gold color. Aroma is standard for pilseners, with plenty of hops. I’m thinking of seafood, for some reason, and?Straw, some slight fruitiness. Short, but pleasant finish. Very likeable beer--perfect thing to stock in the fridge for the Bud drinkers, if I cared about them. Satisfies, but doesn’t stand out. That’s exactly what they crafted this one for, I imagine. A good-beer-lover acquaintance told me,"Nothing beats Bud Lite when you’re playing softball!" I beg to differ! When you know better, you should do better, and that means supporting the micros who put out a solid lager, now and then.
Slightly darker and sweeter than many pils I’ve encountered.

Tastes hoppy, malty, with some citrus at the finish. Medium palate. Medium to light palate, with a smooth, crisp finish. I think this one is very underrated.
