| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2003 Hazy golden with small dissipating off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, fruity (berry), light toffee, light grassy. Taste is mildly sweet and malty up top, lightly toasty, some apricot fruitiness, before finishing with a combination of grassy/earthy bitter and fruity sweet. Also some toffee as it warms. Medium body, fairly acidic/carbonated, though not especially crisp. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 16, 2003 Very pale, sparkling clear, straw-colored lager. Small, fizzy, quickly dissipating head.
The aroma is bisquity and chicken brothy. A tad floral.
Well- bittered for a pilsner. Lightly citrusy with a touch of honey.
Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, clean finish.
I’d continue to pass on this one while at the beer market. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jun 17, 2004 Tap@Pyramid Alehouse. Pretty bad for a pils. Just like very bland premium lager. Clean, grainy and crisp. Hard to say too much about it. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 23, 2003 smells soapy, like old, wet vegetables and rotten socks. somewhat crisp flavors of rye, grass and straw mixed with a small tone of citrus. Cornfield (4979), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2006 Golden in body with an initially bubbly white head, this has an aroma of sweet malt enhanced by a light floral hoppiness. The flavor is that of well rounded, bready malts balanced nicely by an herbal bitterness. I wish they’d have kicked up the hops a notch, but there’s still enough lasting into the dry finish. A good warm weather beer.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2004 Pours dark gold with a big white fizzy head. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt. Tastes hoppy, malty, with some citrus at the finish. Medium palate. Medium to light palate, with a smooth, crisp finish. I think this one is very underrated. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 18, 2003 Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow, moderate density of tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (bread, cookie), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic. Dirty metallic flavor kills another Pyramid beer.
