iabeerguy (158), Iowa, USA Sep 28, 2009 A very good wheat beer! Golden pour with a big white head. Some nice lacing around the glass. Aroma is citrus with honey and malt. Sweet and smooth taste of fruit and honey. A nice beer!" Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 17, 2009 Six pack from the grocery store. I honestly don’t remember much about this and my notes have nothing but a number. Must have been memorable. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 5, 2009 On tap. Clear golden with a small, creamy off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts and fruit. Medium body, rather sweet and clean malts with a subdued bitterness. Very fresh and quaffable. 250709 TizzleJizzle (46), Garland, Texas, USA Aug 14, 2009 The aroma is decent with notes of lemon peel and sweetness. It doesn’t appear too appealing with its pale lager color and minimal head. This beer was quite refreshing and flavorful however, with citrus, slight malt, and mild bitter finish. This wheat ale is ok; I’d prefer an unfiltered wheat instead. Cheers! badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Aug 9, 2009 Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Barley grain aroma. Sweet malt vanilla and bready taste. yespr (11644), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 28, 2009 From tap at the Pyramid taphouse in Walnut Creek. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity. Citrusy hops flavoured, smooth and distinct fruity. Subdued bitter and lingering fruity flavoured finish.
Ungstrup (14757), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 14, 2009 Draft at the alehouse in Walnut Creek. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet and malty - I don’t pick up any wheat. The flavor is sweet and mostly malty, but towards the finish a light wheat note appears and makes the finish dry with just a hint of citrus fruits. Forgettable. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 8, 2009 Orange bodied with a thick fizzy off white head. Aroma is mild lemon, light spice, sweet maltiness. Taste is off, slight souring, not in a good way, lemony, bit of finishing spiciness.
