Jul 14, 2009 Draft at the alehouse in Walnut Creek. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet and malty - I don’t pick up any wheat. The flavor is sweet and mostly malty, but towards the finish a light wheat note appears and makes the finish dry with just a hint of citrus fruits. Forgettable.

Golden, sparkling. Slightly fruity, slightly wheaty. Clean and somewhat refreshing. Typical for the style in that it lacks yeast complexity or interesting malt notes. Achieving emptiness should be the purview of depressed goth kids not brewers.

Jun 22, 2008 12oz bottle pours light wheat yellow in color with a white head, slight chill haze. Nose of musty wheat and grains and a lighter note of moldy, old honey. Flavor is sticky honey sweet malts, light wheat, light dried fruit... not too complex but pleasent enough. Basic semi-sweet honey malt flavor, little to no bitterness. Simple but not bad. Texture is medium to full bodied for the style, somewhat resinous and oily and moderately thick.
