Commercial Description:
An American style light bodied wheat ale that is refreshingly flavorful. Crystal wheat ale was inspired by Pyramid’s first beer in 1984 the wheaten ale, which was the first year round wheat beer brewed in America since prohibition

Light and spicy wheat beer, much better then their hefe in my book. Pours light gold with a smooth white head. Slight haze to it. Citrus and banana aroma. Very crisp and refreshing on the palate, feels like high carbonation that brings the spices to life with a subtle honey and bready flavored malt base. I really enjoyed this one as a summer beer.

Draft at the Safeco Field brewpub. Pours crystal clear light coppery amber with a thin off-white head and plenty of lace. Neutral, maybe bready, sweaty nose. Tingly and light on the attack. Mid-palate is fairly neutral, maybe some toast and some corn sweetness.

Clear orange gold. No head. Light wheat aroma with some lemon. Flavor is mostly some nice lemon notes. Light wheat and maybe a little bubble gum fruitiness? Pretty light. Good carbonation. Flavor is identical to their wheat beer, but not as heavy. Obviously huh?

12 oz bottle from enniskillen; Nose of grain and light banana esters; urine yellow with a medium pale yellow head; flavor has a pepperiness to it, a minor hop bitterness, and light fruity-peachy sweetness. Decent wheat but only very light estery notes.

Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body with a small, thinning, white head. Smell: Altogether mild aroma of wheat, light citrus, and an even lighter yeastiness. Taste: Weak wheat malt taste with a medium sweetness. Hint of citrus fruit. Slight yeastiness. Faintly floral hoppiness with tiny amount of bitterness. Clean, drying finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation, though a bit prickly. Drinkability: We got a real snoozer on our hands here, but I guess it could be worse.

12oz bottle. Wheat and honey aromas. Darker yellow than the noramal staw body color with white head. Starchy zesty soapy lemon flavors. Sticky sweet honey lingers for aftertaste. Blah.

An alright aroma. A light crisp flavor that isn’t too wheaty and has a little hop bite in the finish. A pretty nice beer.

Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Barley grain aroma. Sweet malt vanilla and bready taste.
