Nice vegetal aroma.
Taste is sweet malts and slightly bitter hops. Good balance, good session brew. Good beginner brew. Very drinkable. Dry, bitter finish. TizzleJizzle (64), Garland, Texas, USA

It doesn’t appear too appealing with its pale lager color and minimal head. This beer was quite refreshing and flavorful however, with citrus, slight malt, and mild bitter finish. This wheat ale is ok; I’d prefer an unfiltered wheat instead. Cheers! ditmier (1096), Boise, Idaho, USA

Billed as an unfiltered brew, this one was clearer than my shower door (when dry). There wasn’t anything that stood out; it was just a very smooth, yet bland, Hefe. kidmartinek (986), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2008 Clear golden beer, very slight bubbling, head is 1 inch and lasts a few minutes. Full bodied wheat aroma. Flavor is wheat, full and creamy, maybe a little vanilla, but very creamy. Appeal borders on heavy and refreshing. A small bite on the finish. Nephilium (553), Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Bottle labeled Crystal Wheat Ale, and tagged an American Wheat Ale. Touch of wheat and clove in the aroma, but not much there. Pours a clear light amber with about half an inch of white head. The flavor is more hops then wheat. Bitter notes, touch of pith, and the barest hint of wheat. Very light mouthfeel. Not bad, but not the first thing I’d reach for.
