RSRIZZO (945), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jul 12, 2008 Aroma is with a scent of grain and corn. Color is a bright gold with a slight haze, very good carbonation and a thin tight head. Taste is light and sweet. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a crisp feel. Finish comes in sweet with an almost creamed corn like taste and a very faint hop flavor. After taste leaves you with a fluffy feel. This is pretty good for a Kölsch, its smooth sweet and easy to drink. Sammy (2959), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 30, 2008 Tasted at the Lancaster brewing monthly get-together. Light yellow with bubbly head. Bit of head. Skunky aroma. Not at all a good kolsch. Acidic. Soonah (454), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Jun 27, 2008 Poured a hazy yellowy brown color but with a decent white head that produced marginal lacing. The aroma was wheat, sweet malt and light citrus. The flavor was lots of wheat with light spice and citrus trying to hang on. Thin in body with a relatively dry finish. Plenty of carbonation. Not terrible, just not a beer that I was particularly fond of. EithCubes (1751), Indiana, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Lightly sweet, grainy aroma. I hope that’s not corn. Slightly hazy, or at least murky, golden body with strong carbonation and a lacing, soapy beige head. Syrupy malty body with a dry and grainy, slightly harsh aftertaste. There is a bit of corn there, but it takes a turn for the herbal. A little dirty with some cardboard. Lightish body with soft malty texture. A failure. blutt59 (501), Dallas, Texas, USA Jun 21, 2008 bottle, golden color, sweet nose and flavors of peaches and honey, good body and finish
