Aroma is light and grainy. orange zest and light spice tones.
Very light body with a bit of carbonation keeping it alive.
Flavour is quite clean, some herbal-fruity hop, with a touch of spice in the finish.
Would make a very nice patio beer. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Squat 12 oz. bottle. Definitely the best of the Pyramid brews I’ve tried. Has a complex fruity/herby taste. The finish is not terribly smooth but overall it’s a heck of a beer. Skyview (4087), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at John’s Marketplace in Portland, Oregon. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some fruity apple/pear character with some grassy hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, very light carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some grassy hops and a touch of lemon zest. Finish is semi-dry and mild bitter. It’s missing some of the flowery and yeast flavors I prefer in Kölsch but is still a good beer. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Hazy yellow with white soap bubbly head, quickly diminishing. Aroma of grassy hops, lemon, spice, lemon, honey and light fruit. Taste of herbal hops, spice, sweet malts and fruit. Mild bitter finish. Decent Kolsch. DerBiermeister (524), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 27, 2008 A mediocre brew which is neutral, without an overpowering palate or aftertaste. Generally just fails due to lack of personality. Not a bad imitation Koelsch, but not as good as real Koelsch from Germany. douglas88 (1671), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear and fizzy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is mostly straw and sweet corn. The taste is mostly dry with a fizzy palate and some light fruit and grains. I agree with the description; a clean and crisp taste. Not bad at all. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 9, 2008 12 oz bottle coutesy of Maniac. Clear straw colored with large rocky head that collapsed rapidly. Aroma of light caramel malts with some yeast fruityness. Flavor mirrors aroma with a touch of spicey hop bitterness and flavor. High almost fizzy carbonation but a bit grainy and possibly a bit oxidized.
Nice clean beer, easy drinking but lacks magic.
