Pours a very clear and brilliant yellow shade of gold with a thin white head. The aroma had hints of sweet malts and yeast, but was very light. The flavor is also crisp, clean, and very light. There are hints of crystal malts, honey, yeast, and the slightest balance of hops. The beer finishes slightly dry. The mouthfeel is highly carbonated and light in body. Overall, a bit too watery - I know Kolsch is delicate and mild, but this was a touch too far in that direction - just a bit more malt flavor would have really improved it.

Dry, almost funky vegetal aroma. Maybe some capers, beet sugar. Husky, wheaty flavor, chalky. Interesting, a little off for a kolsch but still tasty. Not crisp enough, and perhaps a little too much body. Still, I could drink these all day.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow golden color with a medium white head that diminishes to very small. The aroma is floral with lots of malt and light hops. Decent lacing on this one with a very herbal flavor that is very easy to drink and a sweet honey finish. Nothing special with this one.

Pours light golden with a fully receding white head. Aroma of honey malt, lightly herbal, and lemon. Taste is lightly sweet with honey malt and slight herbal qualities. Mouthfeel is light bodied with lively carbonation.

Aw yeah, nice Koelsch beer. Pours straw yellow, nice malty taste. I either drank one of these for the $1 glass on glass night in Houston at the Flying Saucer or had it in a sampler.

Hazy yellow colored pour with medium sized head. Sweet malty aroma with a nice malty finish. Pretty darn good.

Pours a pale straw with faint white head. Aroma is of malt and spicy hops. Taste is a delicate malt structure, low fruitiness and an herbal (minty) hop character -- probably Saaz or Hallertau. Finishes dry and bitter. A refreshing lawnmower beer.

Piss yellow (sorry that’s what it looks like). Light but fast moving carbonation. No Head, Slight Lacing and good sticking. Smells of Strong spice and Herbal Notes. Clean, Crisp, Spicey-almost tangy, Earthy and Grainy. Tough to take a lot of this beer into your mouth because of the carbonation. Very light though. Not really wanting another on this hot summer night.
