Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with columns of bubbles and a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of mild hops and citrus. Light-bodied and effervescent with notes of hops, sweet malt and citrus. The finish is mildly bitter hops with a touch of spice in the aftertaste. Overall about what you would expect from a summertime beer from a brewer like Pyramid. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2007 From a 12 oz. twist-off stubby bottle, no freshness date, sampled in a stange glass.
A nice orangey gold appearance with a frothy white head, slowly settled into a thin rocky, sudsy lacing, minimal amount of sticking.
Light aromas of grapes, grains and sweet malts, chalky yeast, hint of floral herbs.
Medium carbonation lends to a medium-light bodied mouthfeel, dry and crisp, tastes of dry white french bread, a smidgen of lemon honey and grapes, very soft herbal spicy hops, and a dry bready finish.
An easy smooth drinker, quite refreshing on a hot, humid July day, a decent American Kölsch.

Smells of wildflowers, touches of malt and some orangey tinges. Tastes inoffensive and light with some citrussy notes and a floral finish. Mouthfeel is very light. Finish is a little dry and thirst quenching. A good summertime session brew. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA

Kind of stale tasting. I’m still on my quest for a great summer session beer. This one falls short. rmussman (906), California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Jun 30, 2007 I dont know why they call it a curve ball but it must be because its different for Pyramid. This beer is very very pale with a limited amount of flavors. I dont find it that pleasing as it really leaves the drinker wanting more and feeling like they are wasting time or money.
