Bottle. Looks great, pale with white head. Looks almost like a helles. Faint malty aroma. Thin body, not herbal with a little bittery tang. Watery finish. This is a very ordinary beer.

Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Aroma and taste are sweet, over-powering for me in these categories. I did not notice any crispiness in any category. I prefer the Goose Island version of this style, by a wide margin.

Pours clear gold off tap with a small white head. Fruity aroma with earthy herbal hops. Doesn’t taste clean like a kolsch should, more fruity like a pale ale with a slight buttery taste.

Pours clear yellow with small bubbly white head. Nose is faint apple and pear, honey. Flavor trends towards herbal hops, slightly musty grain. Very light body, oily mouthfeel. Nothing special but inoffensive.

Bottle: Pours a clear golden color with a smaller white head and light lacing. Aroma is faint fruit and floral notes. The taste is quite earthy, floral, almost like dandilions. Hints of fruit present, but overwhelmed by the floral/grassey notes.

12 oz Bottle-Cloudy golden color w/a slight head. Sweet citrus aroma. Somewhat sweet w/a slight trace of hops. Very light, too light, No body to it. You can drink it, but don’t seek it out, it’s not that special. Short Finish

A slight after taste of microwave popcorn. An overall dissapointment in the Kolsh department. If you want to try a good Kolsh try Roots Organic Kolsh as one of there summer seasonals.

12 ounce bottle from a 6 pack. Grainy, bready, cereal-like alty aroma with just a bit of grassiness present in the nose. Lacks the tart lemony crispness I expect from a kolsch. Pretty reminiscent of a BMC beer. Faintly hazy yellow body with a medium whitish head that is pretty quickly dissipating. Rather sweet, sugary, malty start. Grainy and a bit cereal-like in the middle. Finishes with light grassy hoppiness. Way too sweet, and not bitter or citric like a kolsch should be. Eh.
