| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 30, 2005 Unfortunately I had a pitcher of this at one of the local pool halls. Pours an amberish golden color with visible carbonation and a forced thin white head. Very little lacing noticeable! Aroma is weak with a hint of malt, fruits and thats really about it. Flavor is light bodied, perhaps medium bodied with heavy carbonation a hint of grains, cardboard and wheat. Pretty much unriveting experience. High carbonation, dry cardboardy finish.....yawn GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Not much nose other than a hint of skunky hops. No head at all. Grainy flavor with a hint of fruit...maybe peaches. Cereal grain aftertaste. Moderate carbonation. I’m not a big kolsch fan, but this isn’t bad. MAP (1089), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 25, 2005 Pale bubbling golden color with a decent head from the pour, but calming down to a thin layer. Aroma is light malt and not much else. Flavor is really thin as well, slightly malty and sugary finish. Palate is crisp, carbonated and easy going. Not a bad example of the style, which I am not a big fan of, but a decent session brew. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 19, 2005 Bottle. The bottle gives more head than a Thai cathouse. Hazy yellow with a very thick foamy head. Slight notes of clove, wheat, and banana in the nose. Very dirty tasting for a Kolsch! They nailed the herbal taste-has an essence of Ludens cough drops. Dirty metallic finish. Refreshing, but so is water. celogan (190), Oroville, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 17, 2005 Aroma slight banana. Poured cloudy yellow with Light body and mouth feel with a sligh oily mouth feel.. Could use more carbonation but not too bad. Poured with little to no heaad or lacing. Taste lacked hoppiness but had some nice fruity notes with some spiciness and a dry finish. Decent beer but not great. I’d drink it again but not rush out and get any but still worth a try.
