| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2005 Bottle Pours a clear very light golden, slightly orange color. Quite active white head that quickly dissipated. You cant really have lacing with there is only a single row of bubble hanging around at the edge of the glass either. Aroma is very pale grain, pilsner like with a little fruit notes. Aprocots maybe and a slight spiciness. Flavor is a mild light grain, subtle with nothing realy grabbing you. Lightly hopped and without much bitterness at all. Lively carbonation and a soft palate. Pleasant enough and it met my conservative expectations.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2005 Yellow gold with a fizzy white head. Yeast ester, malt, and muted hops in the aroma. Spritely hops complement grainy malt character. Finish is fairly grassy. Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing. TheBeerGod (3157), Newport News, Virginia, USA

Finish is composed of light fruit notes, grains, light tanginess, faint spices, grass and straw. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2005 Clear and tangerine colored with little head. Light caramel, grain and a bit of bubblegum in the aroma. Soft and well balanced with a decent body. A little puckering bitterness in the finish. One of the better American Kolsch I’ve had but still lacking in the flavor dept. KAggie97 (2457), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 19, 2005 On tap at JPs Hopshouse. Pours nice and wheaty golden. The aroma is a thud of hops with just a pinch of malt. The taste is nice and full of subdued hops in the begining, but dissapointingly it fades into straw in the finish. Big letdown. presario (2983), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2005 Dark yellow. A little salty. Like a filtered wheat. Flavour is a little tangy and sharper. Cornfield (4942), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 4, 2005 This poured a slightly hazy, bright yellow with a short-lived, fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet malt and corn (although I doubt any of the latter is in there) and a dash of lemon. Odd for a kolsch. The body is creamy and a touch watery. The flavor is a grainy sweet malt with a mild herbal hop bitterness in the finish.
