| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 19, 2005 bottle-pours a clear golden yellow hue with a fizzy white head. aroma doesn’t say kolsch at all-malty sweetness that smelled artificial if you ask me with notes of malt grain husks and some faint hops. The sweetness smells kinda honey like. flavors are grain husks and not very much going on. body is decent. The aroma is more robust than the flavors. kinda wierd and off, but a decent lawmnower beer still. heemer77 (4303), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 10, 2005 Bright gold with a thin white head. Slight corn flake aroma with some slight hints of tangerine and ginger. The flavor is full for the style with some clove spice and bread. There is a little bit of honey. Nicely done for a summer beer. leitrim65 (398), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 25, 2005 On tap at The Cheesecake Factory in Bellevue. Light straw color with no head. Wet cardboard nose. Very light and watery. Stale flavor with a hint of hops in the finish. Might be a touch better than what you get from the mass produced giants (Bud, Miller, etc). | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 22, 2005 Bottle poured gold yellow with a good caronation and a good but quickly dissipating head.
Aroma of corn and light malt.
Easy drinking, mild flavor of malt with a light hopy finish..not bad. Aggie80 (708), Michigan, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 4, 2005 12 oz bottle. Clear gold, bubbly body with a small dying head...biscuity, grassy nose with a touch of honey and apple, heavy on the malt and zero on the hops...smooth, simple, clean malt flavor profile, rather marred by a metallic and cardboardy bitter finish. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 26, 2004 Well, it’s a kolsch, it’s yellow, mellow (ok it’s bland). nothing offensive, but it’s a lawnmower beer. Oh well. drismyhero (815), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 15, 2004 This is another beer that somehow slipped through the rating cracks for me. I’m almost disappointed I actually got ahold of one of these mid-winter. Bland bland boring-ass bland. Has the appearance of oat soda with the big fake corbonation bubbles to boot. Very boring flavor, suedo malty base with a very generic lager bite that just makes it barely distinguishable from any macro. Not worth your time.
