Bottle. Lightly sweet, grainy aroma. I hope that’s not corn. Slightly hazy, or at least murky, golden body with strong carbonation and a lacing, soapy beige head. Syrupy malty body with a dry and grainy, slightly harsh aftertaste. There is a bit of corn there, but it takes a turn for the herbal. A little dirty with some cardboard. Lightish body with soft malty texture. A failure.

Poured pale golden with a thick white head. Malty aroma, much like a lager or golden ale. Fizzy palate that’s very refreshing, crisp hop flavors with cracker-like grains and malt. Finishes with herbal-like veggies. Pretty straight forward, nothing too special.

Pours a dark golden with a small thick frothy head. Smells like fresh laundry lint, some honey, slightly toasted. Odd flavor, sweet, toasty, herbally, honey and cheap malts. Not bad though, reminds me very strongly of Schell’s honey kolsch. Easy drinking, crisp, some honey stickiness, but a little funky and too sweet.

Pale gold. Aroma of dirt, slightly odd. Flavor matched, some dirt, a bit of a cardboard note, and the light malts simply weren’t very clean. A touch astringent as well. This simply wasn’t very well done. Perhaps it suffered from poor handling, too give it the benefit of the doubt.

Enjoy By: 08-26-08. That’s more of an approximation, as the numbers are so small and so scrunched together that I’m not exactly 100% on that. Let’s just go with it, huh? Appearance: Clear, deep yellow body with a tall, white head, though it’s bubbling out fast. Smell: Lightly floral aroma with hints of both apple and pear juice. Tiny note of malt way in back. Taste: Very light, delicate maltiness - kinda like I just pressed my tongue against a saltine cracker. Subtle sweetness. Light fruitiness. Not much bitterness, but the overall flavor starts drying out on the way to the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A light brew, but one should know that going in ahead of time. Overall, an acceptable lil’ Kölsch-type brew, and not nearly as horrendous as everyone’s making it out to be.

Bottle. Pours very bright, clear yellow. head is nice and snowy white but dissipates quickly. nose is malts. taste is a few notches up from a coors, malty, salty, a bit of citrus and hop in the background.

Reminds me a lot of Victory’s Golden Monkey tripel (which I rated a 3.2). This presents a sharp, "hot" character, very carbonated, crisp and bubbly. Appearance quite clear with little head, again much like Golden Monkey.
