Draft at the alehous in Walnut Creek. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of malt and citrus and vanilla - a bit odd. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and light notes of malt, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Boring.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a small, off-white head. Very malty nose. Medium body with soft and rather sweet, malty notes - almost like the juice of soaked wheat. Decent as such, but not clean and crisp as a Kölsch is supposed to be. No bitterness. 290306

Deep blond color. Reminds me some German beer, but the poor ones, there is nothing special here.

(Best by 7/2/03, consumed 6/16/03): Clear pale golden body topped by quickly dissipating medium white head. Aroma is sweet and pine/herbal. Taste is apple up front, quickly turning to a grassy/herbal hoppiness. Dry acidic finish. Light watery body -- a lawnmower beer a touch above the average one.

Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas and tastes of light grass and some citrus and light caramel. Lightly malty sweet. Thinner body.

on tap-pours a thin white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is honey, wheat, musty. Taste is honey, wheat, musty, herbal, secondary flat (saaz?) hops, some pepper. OK effervescence.
