| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Pours a light yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is a clean, sweet grainy note with a light lemon/orange citrus sweetness too it. Flavor has a clean, light, grainy flavor, light citrus sweetness with a very very mild grassy hops note. Body is thin with a light, crisp texture. Overall there is a very smooth sweetness present in the beer that really brings out the plain graininess of the beer. poisoneddwarf (208), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 4, 2009 12 oz bottle. Is it a blonde or a Kolsch? New label says Blonde Ale, old label said Kolsch. So WTF is it?? Smells of caramelized grain. Appearance is a slightly hazy golden hue. Tastes of caramel, grain; highly carbonated. Not much head to speak of; lacing is halfway decent. It’s a little expired; not sure if it’s affecting the beer in any way or not. This has always been my least favorite beer from Pyramid. It’s not tasting too bad tonight, however. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2009 An average beer. Average, for a microbrew... exceptional for a national beer. Leaves a bit of tongue roughness in wheatness. unclemattie (2432), Georgia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 17, 2009 short 12oz, twist-off bottle. Very bready aroma. Nice smell. Deep yellow color, thin white head. Flavor of pale malts and a sharp, spicy hop. Very sharp, very spicy. Lots of pale malts and a huge bread character. A hint of fruit in the finish, even some earthy grass notes, and some cereal grains. Light-medium bodied, easy drinker. I think I’d rather cook with it, maybe a pot roast. 502Flavors (629), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 11, 2009 12 oz. Pale gold with white head thats starts creamy bud fades fast. Aroma and flavor are mostly pale malt, a bit bitter sweet, cereal notes, and some wheaty banana character. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Overall: refreshing and sessionable, but lacking in umph and individuality. brewski519 (428), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 6, 2009 12 oz bottle - pours a golden yellow with little head and no lacing. Aroma of grass, light hops, slight fruitiness and some biscuit. Taste of malt, hops, caramel, grass and biscuit/yeast. Light easy to drink beer that doesn’t offend - but is refreshing like a Blonde ale should be. lithy (1800), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
